Event: An annual expo to celebrate women that is attended by thousands from the local area. They offer lots of vendors, staged demonstrations, fund raising, celebrity guest appearances, and more.

Master Chef Martin Yan of "Yan Can Cook"

Responsibilities: Face to face marketing from the Beyond 50 Radio booth to explain to attendees about the show and sign them up for giveaways and the program's weekly e-newsletter; prepare introduction notes for the emcee of the Cooking Stage to host world famous television personality, Chef Martin Yan of "Yan Can Cook" that can be viewed on Channel 10's Oregon Public Broadcasting (OPB); make contest forms and marketing materials from Beyond 50's advertisers available for all of the attendees of the cooking demonstration; and help to announce the winners of 3 giveaways: overnight stay at Surftides Inn in Lincoln City at the Oregon Coast, $50 gift certificate to dine at McCormick & Schmick's restaurants, and tickets to see a performance of "Charlie and the Chocolate Factory" by the Oregon Children's Theatre at the Newmark Theatre in Portland.
